Project type of Product allows users to link an item to a Company.
Purpose of Project is to create individual item to a Company / Project. It has various statuses to manage where the process at currenty. I can be reused, but for this purpose the recommended type is Product (for more information see Products section)
Project always linked to a Company.
Project can go to Production line, where process can be managed through the Production line and Time management pages.
Projects can be used for Quotes, Invoices and Delivery notes.
Create / Update Project
Unit price and Vat are default, but can be changed in documents. They provide preselected values at document creation.
Company field is required.
Estimated working hours value helps to compare estimated hours to production hours – available at Production line and Time management sections, that helps to find efficiency issues and bottlenecks.
Production parts
At least one part required, that Employee can work on and captures working hours to.
Note: Employees work on Parts not Project.
Tracking is available at the History section.
